Site Configuration
Basic Settings
Accurately configuring the portal's name and associated email address is crucial, particularly in terms of the website's communication with end users. These settings must be set correctly to prevent any potential confusion when users receive notifications from the portal.
These configs are accessible from the Drupal menu:
Configuration → System → Basic site settings
Or via a quick link in the left admin menu:

Using the left admin menu to access site settings
All pertinent settings can be found under “Site Details”:

Basic site settings
Site Name: A required field that typically appears in the <title> tags of every page on the website. It’s also used as the sender’s name when emailing notifications to users.
Slogan: Typically, page titles use the following format: Page Name | Site Name
Example: “Get Started | Apiboost Dev Portal”
Slogan is typically used in place of a Page Name.
Example: Using a slogan for homepage: “The Best Place for APIs | Dev Portal Name” instead of: “Home | Dev Portal Name”. It’s not as common to do this for inner content, which usually has its own metadata.
Is optional, but can be configured to meet marketing needs
Email address: All automated emails will use this address, including (but not limited to):
New site registrations
Password recovery
Team invites
Product access requests
Using a legitimate email delivery service and address can help avoid being marked as spam
